A friend and I rolled into this place without a reservation for an overnighter. The campground was almost full so we were lucky to get a site. Everything about this campground was great. Very clean and the bathhouse was convenient and one of the best I've seen at a state campground. A place this nice is very popular so you may want to make reservations ahead of time. They do take Credit cards! I'll save this one on my map for the next trip through that area.

Well operated. Clean bathrooms with all sinks, showers and toilets in good condition. Handicapped accessible campsites, shower, toilet and one trail!

Limited recycle.

Water at all sites.

Nice playgrounds...I counted 3 with smallest by site 6. Nice large playground and Fort by Woodchuck Hollow.

NO SWIMMING. Fishing and boating.

3 camp hosts. All friendly and on the job!

Deer, wild turkey(the bird), ducks.. surrounded by hardwood forests with nice hiking trails (some spots moderate difficulty) that are doable by most age 2-72.

Ice $3 bag, Laundry mat with 3 each.

My friend and I went to this park to observe the total solar eclipse. The staffs are very kind, friendly and helpful. Instead of increasing the entry fee for the event, they made it free. It felt like for them, customer satisfaction is the first priority. Good job! Thank you!

Camosites immaculate with 2 normal home outlets, a 30 and a 50 at poles on sites except Woodchuck Hollow which does not have 50. Tent sites no power.

Enjoyed a leisurely stroll around the lake on an easy trail. Beautiful views of the lake. Spotted several does as we were leaving. Found numerous painted rocks along the trail. A lot of families with small children were also out rock hunting. The trail I walked today was easy, but they do have a more strenuous one.

Very nice park. Friendly staff and Rangers. However, I was informed that Bleadsoe Creek State Park does not offer veterans discounts in the off season like so many of the other state parks do. The dark haired lady at the front desk said the park manager determines what discounts the park offers and that is not one. So unfortunate. We camp 12 months a years and this would be a great destination but if they can't give a little to the veterans of our country, I will not visit and I will make this known to other veterans ... sorry Bleadsoe, you lost a camper and probably more.
