This Walmart is better than most.. no stupid self scanners.. plenty of manned and self checkout lanes.. other Walmart stores could learn something here.. if I wait more then 5 Minutes to check out.. I leave my cart and go to the competition.. it's just that simple.. other Walmart management should come here and take notes.. or find another line of work.
They are getting a wider variety of items which is good.
This store is always out stuff in the grocery section. Every time I shop there they are out of two or things on my list. Now most of the time I go to Hendersonville Walmart because they are always well stocked. I have talked to other shoppers and they have the same complaint. They do have a great pharmacy though and I do use that.
My visit on this day was to the auto center to get new tires on my truck. I like the fact that they didn't try to upsell me even though the tire size I wanted was unusually small for my vehicle. I showed up without an appointment, got the exact tires I wanted, while getting a chance to enjoy the short walking distance Chinese buffet for lunch while I waited. Overall good experience. And good price!
Wal-Mart's prices are not the best. I am pretty sure I am not the first person to say this. The employees are very nice and helpful . And all the items you are looking for are placed accordingly. I do not love this place due to issues I have had with them in the past. But set aside the dislikes...

I had a bad experience with a Wal-Mart debit Visa card. They will not take them in the self checkout lines nor will print your balance on the receipt. You have to remember the exact $ balance to use the remaining amount. Took a long time and inconvenient.
