I could NOT convince the clerk that he owed me 6 dollars and change after I spent 13.09 and handed him a 20 dollar bill. I got 91 cents back (the machine provided change automatically). After complaining that I had only received change, he gave me 3 wadded up singles and insisted it was the correct amount. Interestingly he had also shorted the guy ahead of me by 3 dollars! Anybody else think he's shorting change by about 3 dollars per person? I do!
I work nights. Stopped in at 2am to grab a few items and there was a sign on the door said be back in 10 mins? Okay I will just take my business down the street to shell.
