Amazing park large area no playground or rating would be better.
This park is mainly for sports . They did have the 4th of July fire works here and they where awesome
Big park. It has very good restrooms. The kids playground is great (but it can get too hot with strong sun). Plenty of parking.
Great place to run in the mornings. Beautiful scenery. Since I go in the mornings I will say it is never crowded and is very peaceful.
I was in Gallatin for the Total Solar Eclipse, 2 minutes 40 seconds, and the park is a huge open area, but with few trees. They had portable toilets for the event, but it didn't seem like they normally had rest rooms. Having a combined cemetery-city park was just plain weird. The police seemed like arrogant bully thugs from a stereotypical, badly written story except it was real life, and that is from someone they didn't bother. The police were so busy posing and bullying that they blocked and interfered with traffic rather than getting people parked, so a lot of people left town. I found an alternate route that bypassed them so I could actually get to the park and situated. It was hot as hell when I was there, and there were no drinking fountains in the park, but a bank(?) was giving people bottles of water to drink for the event.
