This is an amazing place to rescue a cat or a dog. They’re so wonderful and helpful. They have a 2 weeks trial period before you actually adopt your pet to make sure everything will work out, so no pressure. Another pro is they have free daycare if you rescue from there! It’s a great convienence so my dog will never be caged for a period of time and they understand people work. I highly recommend this place and it’s affordable if you don’t reacue from here but still want to use daycare or grooming. They don’t discriminate on the type of home you live in either which is common in most shelters. Such amazing people
The people here are amazing. I found the sweetest dog roaming the street with a limp and no tags. I tried for days to find her owners, with no luck. Finally, I had to find a nice place to take her because my husband and I live in a tiny home and didn't have space to keep her. I called all the rescues and no kill shelters all over place and every place was full. I was even told by someone who has a "rescue page" online to contact animal control.... Which I absolutely was not going to do since they kill the animals that aren't found. Someone gave me the number to Friends of Hannah so I called them. They were closing in 10 minutes and I lived 30 minutes away... The nice girl on the phone said she'd wait for me to bring her in. She waited there for 45 minutes after they closed for me so they could help the sweet dog. They took her right in and said if they couldn't find the owner or find someone to adopt her, she'd just live out her life at their lovely rescue. The dog felt so comfortable instantly, that she jumped up into the office chair and sat down. We laughed and I gave her a final ear scratch and left. I felt so peaceful leaving here in their kind hands. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place.
Love this place!! We adopted our Tux here a year ago. We go back here for grooming and boarding needs. They treat all their animals as if they were their own! Wouldn't go anywhere else!!
Thank you. Friendly and Riley are so close, he watches Riley and is just about house trained. We changed his name to Charlie, they are both doing great. He's very much loved.
