I have put 5 children thru this school, 4 of whom are special needs, and this was the best school to meet all of their needs!
I am currently attending Rucker-Stewart as an 8th grader. This school is a pretty great school both academically , and athletically. I have played football , basketball , and ran track at this school and it's been a great experience. The teachers here hold you to high standards and will not let you fail. They help you when you need it , and teach you the proper ways to do things. I recommend this school for your kid(s).
I have had nothing but problems with this school. Dr. Green is the principle and she is extremely rude. They don’t take accurate attendance, they don’t inform parents of serious situations like bullying. I went to drop off my daughters lunch and a child was being walked out for fighting. Not even a week later my daughter tells me another fight happened that caused the ambulance to come to her school. Where were the adults? A 6th header had his head bashed open by an 8th grader. Anytime I voice my concerns to the principle she tries to turn it on my parenting. I have been up at that school at least once every two weeks because I have felt there are issues here. No accountability and nothing is getting better. If I could put her in a different school I would!
A great program and can make average students impeccable.
This school is Horabil there are kids constantly bullying each other and if u bring it to the principles they say thats normal and there's nothing they can do or they will deny it be ing bullying my sister is being accused as pregnant and everyone is calling her names and stuff like that even the teachers
