Dr. Gentry is hands down the best veterinarian in Sumner County. I have been taking my dogs to her for many years and could not be happier. Let me tell you a true story about how amazing she really is.

Based on all the reviews, I chose this clinic for my 15 year old, much loved cat, who had rapidly declined in weight loss, not eating or drinking water. I was given an emergency appointment and had the same experience of all the reviews!!! Very thorough and gracious care from Dr. Franklin. Highly recommend them!
Many years ago I took my pug to a clinic she worked at in Sumner County(she was not the owner) and the veterinarian owner said he needed to amputate my pug's tail because the tissue was dying. I am a nurse and knew that the tissue was still viable but the hair was missing and it looked terrible. He was going to cut my dog's tail off with no further conversation!! I was very angry and requested another vet look at my dog. Dr. Gentry worked for this other vet, so she took one look at my dog and immediately diagnosed the issue. She prescribed some medication and the issue cleared up within a matter of days without amputation! She has been my vet ever since. I followed her when she started her own clinic and still take my animals to her this day.
Dr. Gentry is an absolutely wonderful, calm and compassionate vet. Her office staff and technicians are excellent, competent professionals as well. I pass numerous other vets' offices on the 15 mile drive from my home in Hendersonville, but
Our sweet kitten had a medical emergency and Gallatin Animal Hospital was the closest vet to our home. Dr. Plemmons saw us right away and did everything in her power to treat our kitten. While the ending to our story is a sad one, I was touched by the way Dr. Plemmons and staff treated us with compassion and dignity as we mourned the loss of our little one. I would highly recommend Dr. Plemmons and the staff at GAH. Such caring and wonderful doctors.

The staff there is wonderful, both veterinarians are amazing with my dogs I highly recommend this place the girls at the front desk are very knowledgeable and very helpful
