If you are looking to adopt a pet The Spa is the way to go. Safe Place for Animals. They helped us or we helped them sponsor an Adopt-A-Pet and with great success we were able to find homes and draw awareness to what a great and wonderful place this is.
Had a great experience. The staff really cares about the welfare of their animals and try to make sure they go to good homes. I adopted a precious dog from them and am very pleased with SPA.
I read ALL the reviews. However, Safe Place for Animals and their staff deserve nothing but 5 stars!!! With the entire process- from the first phone call to bringing home our new pup, we were given nothing but the best customer service. The facility is clean. The animals are well taken care of. The staff is extremely kind, knowledgeable, and considerate. If your ready to adopt a new pet make sure you give them the chance or you might miss out on your new family member!! Thank you all again!!
We went to see the cats last Saturday. The cats are clean and well cared for. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. We spent about two hours filling out application and just observing the cats. Our application was approved on Monday and I went back on Tuesday and picked out our cat Dara. Picked her up today with full vet record, chip info and flea medication. We are very pleased with our decision to adopt from Safe Place for Animals. I implore people to remember there are cats out there that need homes also these people survive on donations.
It makes me sad to see the terrible reviews about this place because SPA truly does care about their animals so much. They put the care of the animal before anything else. These reviews about a hard application process, rudeness, etc. are because these employees see so much. Every day, selfish people surrender their animals for petty reasons, and it’s so easy to become untrusting of others. I appreciate Diana checking my references and making sure that Penny went to a safe home. Any reputable rescue group goes to great lengths to check vet references and ensures the adopter is truly ready for a pet commitment. We are so thankful SPA chose us to be Penny’s new parents! Thank you for ALL you do for animal rescue. It can be a thankless job.
