Thank you Teddy Bear Portraits for the wonderful preschool photos of our students and staff. We got a lot of positive feedback from the parents on their children's big smiles. The photographer was very patient with each child and had a great sense of humor.
They photographed my son at his daycare and I ordered one sheet of prints. They didn't have a printer on-site so I was supposed to receive my receipt by e-mail. A week passed and still no receipt. But you can bet they charged my credit card right away. The amount didn't match what I was expecting to pay - it was 20% higher than the cost of the prints. So I called their customer service number to ask for my receipt to figure out why. Spent 20 minutes on hold before giving up and leaving a message for a call-back. Two business days later, still no call back. So I submitted a request on their website. That got an almost immediate response! But the "receipt" was not itemized and only listed the total they charged me. So I wrote back asking for clarification. They still didn't provide a cost break-down, but told me that it included a surcharge: "The surcharge is sort of a delivery fee to have the orders shipped to the center". Part of their sales pitch to get you to buy right away is that you get free shipping. If you order after picture day you have to pay an extra fee. But buyer beware, they're going to hit you either way but call it something else!

We had a sales person contact us and "promise" his best photographer on the days of our choosing if he could get a contract from us. We scheduled for pictures, and signed a contract three months ahead of our photo date (for 225 kids at a daycare). We received a confirmation call the week before. Two days before, I called to confirm the TIME, and was told that our dates were no longer available. We had to find another photographer to do 225 kids, on less than a week notice. Absolutely no follow through from the sales department, and I tried to contact a supervisor who never called me back. I would NEVER work with these guys again, and caution anyone who signs a contract...good luck with actually getting them to honor it!
One star for taking a decent picture of my kid. Negative stars for an overpriced product, unscrupulous/unprofessional business practices, and pathetic customer service.
We had a great experience with Teddy Bear Portraits! The photographer was very patient with our little ones (infants through 4-year-old preschool age children) and clearly explained the order preview and processing to our families. They absolutely loved the photos!
Decent pictures, definitely overpriced, plus $10 s+h!! I had a very hard time clicking the place order tab, but they kinda have you by the you know what because they know you want those pictures of your child! A rip-off if you ask me. ☹️
