Management is biased and unprofessional. My central cooling/heating unit was broken for over half a month, i received an rent invoice that was lower than my monthly rent. I shouldve know better shes now sueing me for the difference. If you're an minority who doesnt plan to be stagnant in life Don't move here the prejudice is real.
Gallatin Park Apartments were built to provide a nice affordable place to live. The apartments are very nice. The problem is the manager and her little group of friends. Druggies!!!IIt is her "friends" that have caused most of the problems here but she will do nothing about anything. She will lie to your face, then run and tell her friends if you complained on them. A lot of people who live here do not feel safe because her little friends are vindictive. The friends run the apartments, not her. She is not a professional person or she would handle these situations differently. She needs to learn that she has a job to do which is to be fair and equal to all who live here, as well as make this a safe environment for all. She is the one stirring trouble. The police are called constantly about the same things. They make a report to her and she does nothing. This is like living in the projects. Not safe. Waiting to move very soon
Do not come here. I have lived here for 4 years and it has done nothing but go down hill. If i could post pictures i would. Trash always being left out, kids running around and up and down stairs, people dumping animal feces, takes long time to get in touch with manager for repairs. Scheduled repairs not followed up on no call or answer as to why time scheduled they did not show up. I i could post pictures i would. Place is a lot different since Chris Gann left. I only put one star because i had to mark one!!!!!!!!!!!
I have lived here two years. Try to remember that older reviews are from when this complex had a different manger. They switched management teams right before I moved in. The new management works very hard to keep this place clean and updated. They regularly perform maintenance on the grounds to keep everything looking fresh and new. The maintinence man goes out each morning and picks up any trash left out. So please if you move in, make his job easier and dont throw your trash around.The units themselves are always cleaned and new carpet and paint in place, if needed, before a new tenant moves in. Also, I've had a few issues with things breaking or not working properly and maintenance has always been quick to fix it. The only complaint I have is that the rent is a little high for an income based property, but even still, for the amount of space, and the new feel, it's still more affordable than any other place we looked at. Their 3 bedroom apartments are almost 1100 square feet which is very good for the price. Some of the children here are a pain and disrespectful to property and their fellow neighbors but that type of thing will be found in any apartment community and Wendy does a good job of holding parents accountable for the actions of their children. Overall this is a great place to live and I only gave 4 stars due to the rent for income based property being a little high. But as previously stated, for what you get, it's still worth it.
