I have a family history of bad knees. I finally decided to have one replaced and Dr. Gautsch did it using a new robotic procedure. I was up and walking in no time with very minimal pain. I need my other one replaced and he highly suggested to do it shortly after the first one and not at the same time for a number of reasons. This went so well I will be doing the other one in a few short months. His PT staff of Priti and Sarah are also great and they got me up going quickly! If you need a replacement and your doctor doesn't use the new procedure DO NOT DO IT! See Dr. Gautsch and make your recovery much faster, smoother, and with much less pain.
Horrible, abusive billing, lack of proper care. They charged over $1k for "surgery on a broken toe", which NEVER happened, he never physically once touched or looked at any toe! ABUSIVE! He never even touched the toe. Over all charged insurance over $3k to see my husband for 5 min for a broken hand (and charged over $900 to "treat the hand") to which he put a brace on it that is used for broken wrists! I called his office two days later to advise them that the brace was causing my husband MORE pain and they NEVER called me back. They don't care about patient care, they care a lot more about billing. BE CAUTIOUS when visiting, and check your statements!

After suffering with arthritus for many years, two years ago Dr. Gautsch gave me a total knee replacement. After a few weeks of PT in their outstanding rehab center I was out and about. It was well worth the drive from Nashville. Two years later, at age 66 I am training to walk the Country Music Half Marathon with my two daughters in law. I can highly recommend this practice to anyone needing orthopedic and rehab services. Oh, BTW - the hospital nurses and staff are fantastic also.
