Worst service in the state of Tennessee. I work for a surveyor and I call all over the state. I can get recorded documents from the smallest of small counties sent to me by email. This county will not even entertain the idea. When I call and ask for deeds and plats they just say, "Well you have to come pick them up!" they don't even try to direct you to the online site (that you have to pay to be apart of) They just say "no" can't help you! If you work in public service be prepared to help the public!

Sumner County is on the outskirts of Nashville you can't tell me they don't have the tax base to afford online records. Instead you have to pay fees $50 just to set up an account and then $45 a month to obtain records. Wait didn't the tax payers who recorded deeds etc. have to pay to do so as well as taxes for the sale of the real estate. It would seem to me that enough income has already been generated by this system as well as the "public servants" who are tasked with maintaining these records also paid by the citizens. Do you really need a third party involved in this process charging more money?! Many counties & municipalities all over the country have created easily accessible online systems as well as land record hyperlinked GIS systems hello 21st century get on board Sumner County! What do the employees do with all that free time?
